Craziness…

Folks, I’m sorry to say that my life is completely crazy at the moment. On top of the RL chaos, the husband just switched jobs (no more Navy) and since we’re living in Navy housing, we’ve been frantically searching for a new house. Houses aren’t too hard to find in this area (plenty of rentals), but the problem is finding somewhere big enough for a family of eight.

John signed a lease today though (finally) so things are about to get a little more insane while we pack the house and actually relocate. I’m still writing when I can, but I’m so scatterbrained right now, it’s not coming as easy as it used to…

I’m crazy forgetful anyway, but I’m so bad right now that I’m forgetting to post about new chapters and teasers. I’m really sorry and I’m dying to get back on track… I miss my brain. We used to be really close.

I hope y’all can hang in there for the next month or so while you’re waiting for you to get my shit together.

So, if you find yourself curious about a new chapter, you might want to cruise over to WP and check, just in case I brainfarted and forgot to send the alert…

Like I did for the last two chapters.

  1. Wow, sorry to hear that you’ve been having such a hard time. If you need any words from a prior-mil that’s been there (AF), please feel free to drop me a line. I’ll be crossing my fingers for you.

  2. Congrats on the move and thank you for all the enjoyment you give us.

But somehow I can’t help but think of the old Henry Fonda movie “Yours, Mine and Ours”

  3. i know what moving is like so don’t worry about us, you just focus on what you need to do. i do send you my best wishes on your move, and hope like hell you don’t lose nothing, every time i moved i lost half my stuff. good luck and hope you and your brain are better soon 🙂

  4. Congratulations on the move. Take your time getting settled in.We will still be here when you are settled in and feeling a bit more (Unstressed ) yourself. I enjoy your stories and will enjoy what you have given us so far Thanks. Take care

  7. no problem Angela, you know i am in the same boat as you about moving. we finally senttled into a place this past weekend, yeah me…. but now it’s unpacking and getting settled; i still have to go back to Montana to pick up the dogs and my youngest child (dread). but on a good note internet finally gets hooked up today but it will be weeks before i am settle with my 2 kids and hubby, your brood is larger so i sympatize with you. Good luck and no need to rush on updates we will all understand. there is always the BP to keep us entertained. my best and good wishes Kristie

  8. Moving is the worse! Hope all goes well, know that we will be waiting kinda patiently for your life to return to normal.

  9. No worries for the rest of your move, its my problem free philosophy!!!
(Completely hijacked from the Lion King, lol)

I’m just glad to hear that you and the family are well!! I was getting worried.
Take all the time you need to get move and settled into your new place. We’re not going anywhere, totally loyal to you and your stories!

  10. Having moved 3 times in 3 years (and one of those cross country) I sympathize with the craziness. Take your time settling in, we’re not going anywhere.

And let us know how you like civilian life.

  11. We all know about RL. And we can wait. Who knows maybe I will finally get caught up reading after my move last fall. 🙂 I hope it all goes well. Don’t worry about us. Anyone who is upset with you about it isn’t a true friend or reader, so stay frosty.
